With approximately 180 academic and 80 permanent support staff, the KCDSB is one of the largest employers in the region. <p>KCDSB invites applications for a 1.0 FTE Permanent Vice Principal located in Kenora, ON to commence effective August 29, 2024 at cole Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys .<p>As part of a progressive and innovative Educational Leadership Team, we are seeking a Vice-Principal who embodies the core values of justice, equity, diversity and inclusion to employ best practice instructional strategies based on a student-centered approach to leadership.<p>A Catholic Vice Principal must possess: Ontario Principal Qualifications - PQPII <p> An authentic, visible and deep commitment to the Catholic faith and be a credible witness/model of the faith<p> A strong spiritual leadership to empower staff/students and ensure that God and gospel values are integrated into the entire curriculum/life of the school<p> Proven leader in current and innovative educational practices<p> Knowledge of and practical expertise in program development and evaluation <p> Pro-active approach to the needs, issues and problems in education<p> Superior interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills<p> Ability to plan and organize effectively<p> Enthusiasm, energy and the ability to work as part of an effective leadership team<p> Superior administrative and organization skills<p> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills<p> A solid working knowledge of the Education Act and Regulations<p> Strong commitment and leadership in structured literacy<p> Experience in instructional coaching, building educator and administrator capacity in mathematics teaching, and designing and monitoring school and board learning<p> Experience in leading and implementing system change<p> Knowledge and understanding of collaborative approaches to promote inclusion and effectively support the diverse needs of students, including implementing universal design for learning and special education supports in the classroom<p> System leadership and success in promoting student academic achievement and specialized expertise in math<p> French would be an assetPlease include with your application copies of the following documentation: Cover letter<p> Detailed resume of your qualifications and experience<p> Current Catholic Pastoral reference<p> Ontario College of Teachers documentation<p> Three (3) current professional references (including one from a direct Supervisor/Manager)A one-page statement of personal philosophy of Catholic educational leadershipInterested candidates are invited to submit a cover letter, current pastoral reference, and resume outlining qualifications and experience, as well as the names of three professional references (one including a current supervisor) quoting competition number 2024-37 no later than May 24, 2024 at 4:00 pm .<p>Please note that at this time applications will only be received online at:<p> khelsel@kcdsb.on.ca <p>We appreciate the interest of all applicants, how
