We look for people who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative team players, who deliver on their commitments, act with integrity, and who support inclusion.?Working at Nutrien Ag Solutions will provide you an opportunity to help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can?be, and?grow your career.??Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Crop Production Advisor Trainee is accountable to meet and exceed annual sales goals and profit margin objectives of Nutrien Ag Solutions products and services.??? ?What you will do:???Develop and maintain effective business relations with current and potential customers, based on an approach to target customers that would result in a profitable business relationshipProvide agronomic information and advice to current and potential customers ? arranging for access to specialists and learning opportunities where necessaryConduct soil, tissue, weed, pest, and water analysis to recommend best practices for soil fertility management to customersResearch and respond to technical inquiriesMaintain and analyze a database/record of customer profiles (product usage and service requirements) to identify, categorize, and prioritize customer base Communicate a variety of information and recommendations to staff and customersMaintain knowledge of Nutrien Ag Solutions product offerings, including features, benefits, and usesChampion Nutrien?s culture of care and comply with Nutrien, industry regulatory, and EH&amp;S standards ?What you will bring:???5+ years of progressively responsible agri-business and/or other related customer service functionPost-secondary education in Agriculture; equivalent in experience may be considered2+ years of sales experience?Must possess a valid Canadian driver?s licenseCCA or P.Ag. accreditation, or ability to obtain?Are you a good match?
