Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Dangerous. Noisy. Crop dusting and spraying. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Staff accommodation provided. Remote location. Various locations. Tasks: Fly fixed wing aircrafts or helicopters. Monitor operation of engine and aircraft systems during flight. Conduct in-flight tests and monitor functioning of aircraft equipment and systems during flights. Conduct pre-flight inspection of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met. Contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions and other information. Maintain communications with flight dispatchers and weather forecasters and respond to and report in-flight emergencies and malfunctions. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Commercial Pilot Licence - fixed wing. Pesticide Applicator's Licence. Security and safety: Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly.
