We are looking for a part-time/Full-time Optical Sales Associate at our optometry practice in London, Ontario. The Optical Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting patients with frame selections, spectacle lens sales and advising on products/materials, repairing eyewear. Previous optical experience is Required. Training will be provided. *How You?ll Benefit* * Continuing education and potential for certification is available * Flexible work hours, competitive starting wage with potential for annual increases * A workplace culture where collaboration and teamwork are fostered *Responsibilities* * Educating patients about the best eyewear and lenses choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality * Assisting with selection of frames to suit patient?s aesthetic and performance needs * Interpreting optical prescriptions as written by the optometrists * Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of eyewear * Performing repairs and adjustments to patients? eyewear * Pre-testing for the eye doctor using machines such as OCT/IOP/VF. *The Successful Candidate* * Previous optical sales/customer service experience * Passionate about customer experience * A great communicator in the English language who can provide exceptional patient care * Good basic math skills * Committed to excelling as a member of a high-performing team * Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * A positive winning attitude * Good computer knowledge * Previous retail experience an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience: * Optical: 1 year (Preferred) Language: * English (Required) Job Type: Full-time Experience: * Optical: 1 year (Preferred) Work remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount * Vision care Work Location: In person- LocationLondon, ON
