*Sundown Oilfield Services Ltd.* is a locally owned and operated company specializing in facility and pipeline construction, oilfield maintenance, and pumpjack services in the Grande Prairie area. We are seeking a detailed oriented and proactive *Payroll Administrator *to join our team. This is a full?time, office?based position responsible for the full-cycle payroll process. *Position Details:* * *Pay Range:* $26.40-$33 per hour * *Schedule:* Monday to Friday, 8 AM ? 4 PM * *Overtime: *As required to meet payroll deadlines *Key Responsibilities:* * Process bi?weekly payroll and unscheduled runs accurately and on time using Business Central payroll software * Administer the payroll system and complete year?end reporting (e.g., T4s, T2200) * Respond to internal and external payroll inquiries * Maintain up?to?date knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies * Ensure ROEs and termination information are processed accurately and within legislated timelines * Collect and verify employee work hours (including office staff), timesheets, and other payroll data in Aimsio * Enter and maintain accurate payroll records and update employee payroll information *Qualifications:* * Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is an asset * Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience * A combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered * Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Business Central payroll software and Aimsio is an asset. * Strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and time?management skills * Excellent numerical and analytical abilities * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion * Experience troubleshooting new payroll software and resolving system issues * Ability to process complex payrolls involving multiple earning types and scenarios We are committed to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workforce.
