*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various farm machinery and equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting and use power tools effectively. The Machine Operator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining high standards of quality in agricultural environments. *Responsibilities* * Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support irrigation, planting, and harvesting activities * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance * Assist with setup, calibration, and changeover of equipment as needed * Handle heavy lifting tasks safely to move supplies or equipment across the worksite * Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment * Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational issues *Requirements* * Mechanical knowledge with experience operating farm machinery or industrial equipment * Basic understanding of equipment maintenance * Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently * Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic repair techniques * Ability to perform heavy lifting * Prior experience in agriculture, horticulture, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory * Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adhere to safety standards at all times * welding experience is an asset * valid drivers license required Pay: $23.08 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 ? 44.0 per week Work Location: In person- Location Ingersoll, ON
