*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about academic programs, and fostering a positive image of our institution. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys while developing professional skills in recruitment and public speaking. *Duties* * Conduct outreach and recruitment activities to attract prospective students through campus visits, events, and virtual sessions * Provide personalized guidance to prospective students regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and academic programs * Deliver compelling presentations and participate in public speaking engagements at high schools, community events, and college fairs * Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions using Ellucian or similar CRM systems * Collaborate with academic departments and staff to ensure smooth admission processes * Assist in developing marketing materials and informational sessions to promote the institution?s offerings * Support students throughout the application process, including reviewing applications and providing follow-up communication * Stay informed about institutional policies, program offerings, and industry trends related to higher education recruitment *Experience* * Proven experience in recruiting, public speaking, or teaching roles preferred * Familiarity with Ellucian or comparable student information systems is advantageous * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively * Experience in higher education or student advising is a plus * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail This position is ideal for individuals passionate about education and student success, eager to develop their professional skills in recruitment and counseling.
