The Ontario Learning Development Foundation (OLDF) is seeking organized, enthusiastic, and responsible Program Coordinators to join our 2026 Achievers Learning Camp leadership team in Brampton.OLDF is a registered Canadian charity committed to transforming communities through integrated educational and community-response empowerment initiatives for children, youth, newcomers, seniors, and families. Our programs promote academic enrichment, leadership, inclusion, healthy child development, and positive community engagement.The Achievers Learning Camp provides children with a safe, inclusive, engaging, and developmentally supportive environment where they can learn, build friendships, develop confidence, and have fun throughout the summer.Program Coordinators play an important leadership role by supporting daily camp operations, supervising staff, and helping ensure high-quality programming aligned with the HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development.Role SummaryThe Program Coordinator supports the Camp Director in implementing daily camp operations, supervising staff, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality programming aligned with HIGH FIVE® standards.This role helps ensure that program delivery is safe, inclusive, engaging, and responsive to children?s developmental needs while supporting staff in creating meaningful experiences for campers.Core ResponsibilitiesSupervise counsellors, volunteers, and campers at the assigned camp locationAssist in planning, organizing, and scheduling daily and weekly camp activitiesEnsure consistent implementation of the HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child DevelopmentSupport staff in:Activity deliveryBehaviour managementGroup engagement and participationMonitor:Camper attendance and check-in/check-out proceduresCamper safety, supervision, and well-beingProgram quality and staff performanceProvide ongoing coaching, mentorship, feedback, and support to camp staff and volunteersFoster positive relationships with campers, families, staff, and volunteersAssist with parent/guardian communication regarding camper needs, concerns, and updatesAssist with incident documentation, reporting, and follow-up proceduresLead educational, recreational, and team-building activities when requiredSupport the coordination of special events, theme days, and camp-wide activitiesModel professionalism, leadership, teamwork, enthusiasm, and positive conductFollow and enforce all OLDF policies, procedures, supervision standards, and safety expectations outlined in the Staff ManualQualificationsCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in:EducationEarly Childhood Education (ECE)Child & Youth CareRecreationPsychologySocial ServicesTeachingOr related fieldsPrevious experience working in camps, schools, tutoring programs, recreational programs, or youth-focused community settingsPrevious leadership or supervisory experience is considered an assetStrong interpersonal, leadership, communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to supervise, motivate, and mentor youth staff and volunteersPositive attitude, professionalism, maturity, and high energy levelAbility to work effectively within a team environmentAbility to take initiative and work with minimal supervisionBasic pro?ficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication toolsRequired Certifications & ScreeningApplicants must:Hold a valid Emergency First Aid & CPR-C certification (or higher)Hold HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) CertificationHold HIGH FIVE® Quest 2 Certification or be willing to obtain certification prior to campParticipate in mandatory pre-camp training sessionsApplicants who are 18 years of age or older must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employmentEmployment DetailsNumber of Positions: 3Rate of Pay: $17.70/hourHours: 30?35 hours per weekCamp Dates: June 17 ?
