We combine biochemical, catalytic, and separation technologies to replace fossil-derived chemistry with environmentally superior processes. *Position Summary* We are seeking a Chemist to join our lab team working on bio-oil fractionation and upgrading and organic chemistry synthesis. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fixed-bed reactors, organic synthesis, and characterization of complex organic mixtures. *Key Responsibilities* * Operate and troubleshoot fixed-bed reactor systems * Perform bio-oil fractionation, upgrading, and sample preparation * Conduct organic synthesis, purification, and reaction optimization * Prepare catalysts, solvents, and reaction mixtures * Analyze samples using techniques such as GC-MS, HPLC or related methods *Required Qualifications* * M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry+minimum 5 years of industrial experience * Experience with fixed-bed reactors or flow reactor systems * Organic synthesis experience required * Experience with biomass-derived chemicals, catalysis, or fuel upgrading is an asset Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Work Location: In person- Location Calgary, AB
