Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Work setting: Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Select livestock for sale. Perform general farm duties. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload.
