Frahm Interiors is seeking an Intermediate Designer who is highly motivated and detail-oriented to join our creative team. This is a freelance position with the opportunity for a long term contract. 15-25 hrs per week REQUIREMENTS: * Interior decorating or design diploma/degree(not suitable for students returning to school) * Ability to create detailed working drawings and FF&E schedules * Excellent verbal and written communication * Exceptional organization and time management * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and 3D rendering software(SketchUp or similar) preferably a PC User * Must live local to Burlington ON * Must have reliable vehicle RESPONSIBILITIES: The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting the principal designer with all aspects of design and project management. Duties include: * Attend client meetings, and assist with site measures * Research, source, price, acquire samples, and document product selections * Create accurate working drawings and design packages * Liaise with clients, trades and vendors * Ensure project files are current and accurate * Assist with on-site installations and styling We thank all candidates for applying, however, only qualified candidates will be contacted Job Type: Part-time Work remotely * No Job Types: Part-time, Freelance Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Education: * DCS / DEC (required) Experience: * design: 2 years (required)- Location Burlington, ON
