*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils to ensure a smooth and hygienic food service operation. This role is essential in supporting the overall restaurant or hospitality environment by ensuring that kitchen equipment and dining areas are kept in pristine condition. Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel settings is a plus but not required. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and cleanliness are paramount. *Responsibilities* * Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. * Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent contamination. * Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout the shift. * Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and assisting kitchen staff. * Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards. * Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen environment. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy hours. *Qualifications* * Prior experience in food handling, restaurant service, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. * Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a kitchen setting. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 40 pounds). * Basic understanding of food safety practices is advantageous. * Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required.
