Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair complex drivability issues (electrical and mechanical). * Perform vehicle repairs, including (but not limited to): * Diesel diagnosis and maintenance * Steering and suspension systems, electrical and electronic systems, cooling and lubrication systems * Braking systems, drive trains, and power steering units * Clutches, transmissions, and fuel/temperature regulating components * Engine adjustments, testing, and rebuilds * Conduct related repairs and maintenance in accordance with guidelines, qualifications, and manufacturer requirements. * Test-drive vehicles to confirm that repairs are complete and issues are resolved. * Arrange for and obtain inspections/approvals of all major repairs prior to vehicle release. * Identify and report additional required maintenance or repairs, escalating tasks to higher-level technicians when necessary. * Accurately document labor time, parts used, and services performed on internal and external forms. * Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Qualifications: * Valid 310S Technician Trade Certificate * Strong ability to diagnose and repair drivability issues (electrical and mechanical) * Experience in diesel diagnosis and repair considered a strong asset * Proven ability to complete assigned work accurately and efficiently * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Strong working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and repair methods * Valid certifications relevant to the trade * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions * Valid Ontario G driver?s license with a clean driver?s abstract * Chrysler/FCA experience an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match Experience: * Automotive repair: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: * 310S Technician Trade Certificate (required) Location: * Kitchener, ON N2C 1X4 (preferred) Work Location: In person
