*Overview* We are seeking a friendly and energetic Busser/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth dining experience for guests by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food delivery, and supporting the service staff. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and gain valuable experience in the food and beverage industry. *Duties* * Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area * Assist servers by delivering food and beverages efficiently from the kitchen to guests? tables * Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and plating when needed * Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies * Handle guest requests courteously and promptly, providing exceptional customer service * Operate POS systems for order processing and payment handling when necessary * Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during all food handling activities * Assist with general restaurant cleaning duties to uphold health and safety standards * Support baristas or bartenders with basic tasks if applicable *Qualifications* * Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling procedures * Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning equipment * Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward guest interactions * Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn about the hospitality industry This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in hospitality or food service.
