Prepare contracts and tenders. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease. Plant and move trees. Tree removal. Operate chainsaw to fell, delimb and buck trees. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Arboriculturists Trade Certification. Area of specialization: Plant knowledge and identification. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
