Church of Sweat is a growing private personal training service, in person and online in downtown Toronto specializing in 1:1 strength, hypertrophy and conditioning training, movement coaching, and long-term client development. We serve a committed, diverse client base and prioritize high-quality coaching, individualized programming, and real relationships over volume. Our focus is body-positivity, support and offering an approach that differs in quality and tone from what most personal trainers and gyms offer. We?re chill, trauma-informed and research-forward. We are hiring a skilled personal trainer to take on additional client sessions. This role is ideal for a highly capable but underbooked coach looking to build consistent hours without needing to generate leads or sell packages. Key Responsibilities * Deliver high-quality 1:1 personal training sessions * Design and adjust individualized training programs * Coach movement with attention to detail and progression * Build strong, professional client relationships * Communicate clearly and reliably Requirements * Personal Training Certification (CSEP, NSCA, NASM, or equivalent) * Strong knowledge of training and program design * Ability to coach both beginner and intermediate/advanced clients * Professionalism, punctuality, and communication skills * Your own place to train people * Insurance * A desire to train folks in a body-positive, non-judgemental, non-gym bro kinda way Preferred (Not Required) * Athletic background * Rehab-informed coaching or movement quality work * Experience working with diverse or underserved populations Who This Role Is For * Trainers working in commercial gyms who want better clients and better pay per hour * Coaches with strong skills but inconsistent schedules or underfilled books * Trainers who value coaching quality over sales volume * Professionals looking for meaningful part-time coaching work Job Type: Contract Pay: $90.00 per hour Application question(s): * Insured? * Do you have a spot to train clients?
