Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform other routine maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Driver's abstract. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
