Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Dusty. Noisy. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Order parts and maintain inventory. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Perform other routine maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T). Powered equipment repair specialization: Hydraulic-operated working attachments. Pumps. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots.
