*SHIPPER/RECEIVER* *Winnipeg* Brett-Young Seeds Limited is a privately owned and trusted seed production, distribution, sales, and marketing company with local roots since 1934 and a strong international reach. Based in Winnipeg, BrettYoung has locations throughout Western Canada and Ontario. *Shipper/Receiver & 5Ton Driver in peak seasons ? cold environment* *Responsibilities to include, but not limited to;* * Prepares receiving/shipping dock for incoming and outgoing product * Stages, verifies, loads and unloads product (lifting up to 55lbs) * Inspect incoming shipments for completeness * Put product away to designated warehouse location, record any movement of product within the warehouse * Record relevant information on internal receiving documents * Delivery and pick up of product from specified locations in a 5-Ton truck * Assist with yard and warehouse organization and housekeeping * Follow Health and Safety policies as outlined *Required Skills;* * Previous experience working in a shipping/receiving environment is an asset * Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training and certification will be provided * Proven communication and interpersonal skills * Highly motivated with positive attitude and the ability to work within a team environment * Organized and detail oriented * Ability to work long hours as needed * Proficient in spoken and written English *Applicants must have reliable transportation as we are located outside of city limits.* Steel-toed safety boots are required.
