*Hiring Experienced Competition Math Teachers!* *Job Type:* Part-time/Contract *Location:* In person/Remote *Salary:* $35-50, based on experience, interview performance, and class delivery. *Job Overview:* Canada Ututoring Learning Institute is looking for passionate and experienced *Competition Math Teachers* to help students excel in various math competitions. We are seeking educators who have a deep understanding of *math contest strategies* and are familiar with competition-level problem-solving. This is different than teaching normal school math! *DO NOT APPLY if you have no competition experience before!* The ideal candidate should have experience coaching students for competitions such as: * *Canadian Math Competitions (Gauss, Pascal, Cayley, Fermat, Euclid, etc.)* * *AMC 8/10/12, AIME, and USAMO* * *Math Kangaroo* * *Other international math contests* This role requires an educator who can *engage, interact, challenge, and inspire students*, helping them develop strong problem-solving skills and mathematical thinking. *Responsibilities:* ? Teach competition math strategies and problem-solving techniques tailored to students' skill levels. ? Develop and deliver engaging lessons focused on high-level mathematical concepts. ? Guide students through past contest problems, practice tests, and advanced mathematical topics. ? Help students build strong critical thinking and analytical skills. ? Track student progress and provide feedback to help them improve. ? Prepare customized worksheets, slides, and learning materials as needed. ? Keep students engaged by making classes *interactive and intellectually stimulating*. *Qualifications:* - *Experience:* Prior experience teaching *competition math* or coaching students for math contests is *REQUIRED*. - *Math Knowledge:* Strong background in advanced mathematics, problem-solving, and contest-level topics. - *Familiarity with Math Textbooks & Resources:* Knowledge of resources such as *Art of Problem Solving (AoPS), Beast Academy, Singapore Math,* and other competitive math books is *highly preferred*. - *Engagement Skills:* Ability to make classes exciting, interactive, and motivating for students. - *Communication Skills:* Excellent ability to explain complex math concepts clearly and effectively. - *Passion for Teaching:* A strong commitment to helping students excel in math competitions. - *Flexible Schedule:* Must be available for scheduled class sessions. *Why Join Us?* ?
