*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will support the lead educator in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood education while developing your skills in a dynamic setting. *Duties* * Assist the lead educator in implementing daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development * Support children with their activities, encouraging participation and independence * Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety protocols * Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to care * Help organize classroom materials, supplies, and educational resources using strong organizational skills * Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing tailored assistance as directed * Document observations and write reports on children's progress to inform ongoing assessments *Qualifications* * Fluent in English; bilingual abilities such as French are considered an asset * Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly preferred * Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices * Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education is advantageous * Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members * Proficient computer skills including basic operation of educational software and record keeping tools * Classroom experience demonstrating leadership, time management, and organizational skills * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple responsibilities effectively Join us to make a meaningful difference in young lives!
