<p>Adecco is currently hiring a <strong>Tool & Die Maker </strong>to support the construction, repair, maintenance, and modification of stamping dies, tooling, fixtures, gauges, and precision machined components in <strong>Scarborough, ON</strong>. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in tool and die, precision machining, stamping operations, die repair, tooling maintenance, and manual machining equipment.</p><p>As a Tool & Die Maker, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by building, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production tooling while ensuring all components meet quality and dimensional specifications.</p><ul><li><p><strong>Pay Rate: </strong>$25.00/hour</p></li><li><p><strong>Location:</strong> Scarborough, ON</p></li><li><p><strong>Job type:</strong> Permanent | Full-time</p></li><li><p><strong>Vacancy Status:</strong> This posting is for an <strong>existing vacancy</strong>.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br><strong>Tool & Die Maintenance</strong></p><ul><li><p>Build, repair, modify, and maintain stamping dies, fixtures, gauges, and tooling.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production requirements.</p></li><li><p>Fabricate replacement parts and repair machine components as required.</p></li><li><p>Improve existing tooling to enhance quality and productivity.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Precision Machining</strong></p><ul><li><p>Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.</p></li><li><p>Plan machining operations and determine appropriate tooling and materials.</p></li><li><p>Set up and operate manual machine tools including mills, lathes, grinders, and related equipment.</p></li><li><p>Perform precision measurements and inspections to verify dimensional accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain tolerances.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Quality & Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li><p>Assemble, fit, and test dies, fixtures, and tooling components.</p></li><li><p>Inspect completed work using precision measuring instruments.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve tooling challenges.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.</p></li><li><p>Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Tool & Die Maker Certificate (433A) or equivalent experience preferred.</p></li><li><p>Experience building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies and tooling.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of precision machining and tool room practices.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.</p></li><li><p>Experience operating manual mills, lathes, grinders, and precision machining equipment.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with measuring instruments and inspection tools.</p></li><li><p>Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and within a team environment.</p></li><li><p>Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada</p></li></ul><p>Are you interested in this position?
