How do I copy my job posting?
You can copy a job posting at any time, no matter its status—pending approval, drafted, approved, expired, cancelled or declined. Copying a job posting saves time because you don’t have to start from the beginning.
To copy your job posting:
- Sign in to Job Bank for Employers.
- Click "Job postings" on the dashboard menu.
- Click "Copy" under the "Action" column for the job posting you wish to copy.
- Make changes if necessary and proceed to preview. Note: It’s not possible to edit the occupation once the job posting is created. You can only edit the job title. To change the occupation, you’ll need to create a new job posting.
- Review your posting, then click "Submit".
A Job Bank officer will review your job before it is advertised on the website. The service standard to advertise job postings is two business days. Once approved, the status of the job will change to "Advertised" and you will receive an email notification.
Important: Your employer file must first be approved before any job postings can be advertised.
