Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Collect blood, tissue or other samples from patients. Log patient samples and prepare them for testing. Set up medical laboratory equipment. Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment. Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques. Collect tissue specimens for chemical analysis and record findings. Discard specimens according to established safety procedures. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Word. Area of specialization: Biology. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Experience: Experience an asset.- LocationCalgary, AB
