Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Supervise other hair stylists and other staff. Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Maintain and order supplies. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Hairstylist Trade Certification. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Reliability.
