Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Prepare food and feed animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Conduct anals glands treatment. Keep records of animals treated. Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals. Pet clipping and styling. Supervise helpers. Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals. Clean animal ears. Maintain and order supplies. Assist zoo and wildlife workers in transferring, restraining, crating and uncrating animals. Assist researchers in conducting laboratory tests with animals. Clip animal nails. Monitor and document animal behaviour. Perform expert clipping on show animals with tools including clippers, shears and massage sponges. Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals.
