Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs. Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Organized. Team player. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
