We boast a dynamic team of over 200 forestry workers, dedicatedly engaged during the peak season to undertake a variety of tasks related to forestry development.</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong> <br><br>In collaboration with the operations director, the forest supervisor will be responsible for:<br> <br>? Participating in the operational planning of work sectors. <br>? Managing one or more teams of brush clearers. <br>? Assigning areas to the brush clearers. <br>? Ensuring compliance with specifications, operational directives, and current standards. <br>? Ensuring the quality of work. <br>? Inspecting safety equipment. <br>? Marking intervention sectors with ribbons.</p><p><strong>Requirements / Qualifications:<br></strong> <br>The ideal candidate should:<br> <br>? Have experience in brush clearing or have at least one year of experience in the forestry field. <br>? Hold a Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in forest management or a College Diploma (DEC) in forestry technology, or have completed relevant training (an asset). <br>? Demonstrate autonomy and precision. <br>? Be organized, dynamic, and have a strong team spirit. <br>? Possess communication skills and an ability to work with a multicultural workforce. <br>? Have good physical fitness and enjoy working outdoors. <br>? Know how to use GPS and forest maps. <br>? Hold a valid driver's license.</p><p><strong>Work Locations:</strong> <br><br>Several contract locations available: Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Mauricie, Bas St-Laurent, Côte Nord.</p><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong> <br><br>We offer attractive conditions, including: <br><br>?
