Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Perform technical functions in preparation of forest management and harvest plan. Implement, supervise and perform technical functions in silvicultural operation. Provide forestry education, advice and recommendations to woodlot owners. Resource usage and environmental studies: Environmental assessment and monitoring. Additional sector experience: Forestry. Area of work experience: Industrial research. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Travel expenses paid by employer. Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel regularly. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Rain gear. Personal suitability: Excellent written communication. Initiative. Organized. Team player.
