Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Develop and print photographs. Mount and frame photographs. Adapt existing photographic images and create new digitized images to be included in multimedia/newmedia products. Determine picture composition, make technical adjustments to equipment and photograph subject. Operate computers to manipulate photographic images. Operate scanners to transfer photographic images to computers. Study requirements of a particular assignment and decide on type of camera, film, lighting and background accessories to be used. Take pictures of individuals, families, groups and public. Use airbrush, computer or other techniques to retouch negatives. Use delicate instruments, such as optical microscopes attached to cameras. Photographic techniques: Black and white. Colour. Photo restoration. X-rays. Photographic experience: General. Business. Own tools/equipment: Equipment. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youths.
