Murphy Therapeutic Group (MTG) in Peterborough, Ontario is a well-established, private clinic that focuses on providing one on one care to each client. MTG has mainly an orthopaedic population as well as some neurological clients. Our friendly and helpful staff, managed by our Clinic Manager, handle greeting clients, bookings, billings and taking calls. At MTG, you will be working with a variety of Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists and Physiotherapist Assistants. The clinic offers 60 minute, 45 minute and 30 minute bookings for massage. MTG also encourages professional mentorship and in house workshops for continuing education allowing any therapist to develop their hands on skills. Regardless of your level of experience you will enjoy our fun and client focused environment. Our goal at MTG is: * _Promoting optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness;_ * _Preventing disease, injury, and disability;_ * _Managing acute and chronic conditions, activity limitations, and participation restrictions_ Services offered by our Registered Massage Therapists include; * Assessment and development of individualized treatment programs. * Providing massage therapy treatment incorporating various modalities. * Creating customized exercise programs and self-management programs specific to each clients? needs. * Devising pain management programming and education on self-management for persistent pain conditions. Qualifications: * Registration, in good standing, as an independent practitioner with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. * Good understanding of current, evidence based methods and practices of massage therapy practice. * Committed to working as a valued member of an interdisciplinary care team. Hours of work are open for discussion and will be based on client and clinic demand. Starting part-time leading into full time. Monday to Friday. Includes some evenings. No weekends at this time.
