*Position*: Medical Laboratory Assistant Temporary Full Time *Department*: Client Services *Hours*: Hours may vary, based on posted schedule. Currently scheduled Monday to Friday from 8-4 Must be available for scheduling on Saturday, Sunday & Holidays as needed Hours are subject to change if necessary. *Starting Wage*: $16.89 *Education:* Medical Laboratory Assistant diploma preferred *Skills:* · Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. · Exceptional interpersonal skills including communications skills, both verbal &written · Strong prioritizing skills · Strong computer skills · Knowledge of specimen requirements · Must work well independently and as part of a team. · Must be able to follow established processes and procedures. . Analytical skills to troubleshoot problems *Requirements:* · One year of current MLW experience with demonstrated excellent customer service skills. · Keyboarding 40 WPM · Registered as a Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician, with current OSMT registration preferred. · Working knowledge of MLW operations, processes, and policies · Reliable transportation Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $16.89 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Paid time off Flexible Language Requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationWindsor, ON
