Tasks: Assess clients' cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish adaptation goals. Assist students to develop life skills. Provide job training and support. Assess individuals in areas such as physical limitations, orientation and mobility skills, and cognitive, social and emotional barriers to establish client rehabilitation or adaptation goals. Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on special needs of client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives. Student status: Full time enrollment. Target audience: Adults. Persons who are deaf/hard of hearing. Persons who are intellectually impaired. Persons with physical disabilities. Area of work experience: Community service organization.
