DiSante Engineering is a mechanical and electrical building engineering consultant centralized in Niagara-on-the-lake, Ontario. We prepare drawings and specifications for the construction of mechanical and electrical systems for a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. We also provide construction administration services to ensure what we engineer gets constructed on job sites. Our company mission is to engineer success. We complete this mission by continuously strengthening our technical knowledge, being innovative, listening to client needs, and delivering on promises we make. Our standard work week consists of 36 hours and our hours are 8 am - 5 pm Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 12 pm Friday.
DiSante Engineering is looking to add one electrical engineer with 3-5 years of building consulting engineering experience. The current role is a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications of the electrical engineer:
- Graduate of a College or University program in electrical engineering.
- P.Eng license.
- 3-5 years of experience in the building consulting engineering sector.
- Energetic and not afraid to learn and try new things.
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
Typical tasks and duties of the electrical engineer:
- Complete a variety of engineering calculations required to size equipment, panelboards, and etc. in compliance with applicable building codes and standards.
- Create engineered drawings in AutoCAD and complete other tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Regularly coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, and other consultants.
- Prepare and review electrical specifications and schedules.
- Oversee the work of other electrical designers and junior staff.
- Project manage a variety of different projects and take them from the initial design stage to substantial completion with periodic input from senior staff.
