Bridlewood Community Elementary School (BCES) has an enrollment of over 300 students. Our diverse student population represents many countries and cultures. Primary and Junior teachers meet to create, support and review school initiatives. During these sessions, staff members are involved in professional learning, planning, and the organization of cross-graded learning activities. This collaborative effort allows us to better meet the needs of our students. Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Boards (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully, with a human rights and equity perspective, to foster student success, achievement and well-being. Eligibility List All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified. (52% LTO and 48% DOT position at Bridlewood.) <p>LTO working hours: <p>Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30-11:55.
