Join our expanding personal injury firm as we seek a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Law Clerk to join our team. If you have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a personal injury law firm, are a self-starter, and are ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage undertakings, requests, and summaries of productions.
* Draft legal documents such as Affidavits of Documents, Notice of Examination, etc.
* Correspond with third parties and clients.
* Schedule examinations for discoveries, mediations, etc.
* Effectively track deadlines and timelines, including limitation periods.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clerk in a PERSONAL INJURY law firm.
* Strong knowledge of Civil Litigation and the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS).
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Proficient drafting skills with speed and accuracy.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational abilities, capable of thriving under pressure.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining precision.
* Outstanding interpersonal and client service skills.
* Demonstrated proficiency in legal technology and software such as Clio.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
