*Candidate Profile:*
Minimum 2 years Sous Chef experience; Culinary Degree or Red Seal certification preferred; Valid Food Safe certificate required; Strong management and communication skills; Flexible schedule; Adhere to all standards and procedures and ensure staff do the same; Hungry to learn and research a new cuisine; Stable and progressive work history.
*Responsibilities:*
* Directs kitchen operations and reports to Executive Chef
* Collaborates with General Manager and Owners when Chef is absent
* Oversees and supervises kitchen staff
* Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies
* Keeps the kitchen area clean and complies with food safety standards
* Maintain prep levels and par stocks
* Maintain highest hygeine and cleanliness levels
* Maintain positive communication and relationships with all staff, guests, and management. Solve problems that arise and seize control of issues in the kitchen
* Schedules staff shifts
* Trains new team members
* Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment
* Perform other duties as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
