*Chris Dikeakos Architects Inc. (CDA) are currently looking for a Senior Architect to join our expanding team.*
Having served the high-end of the Development community for over three decades, the CDA team has become a leading choice for complex, mixed-use high-rise design and Master planned communities throughout the West Coast of North America. In the past decade alone, CDA has designed over 100 high-rise towers including condominiums, rental, hotel, office and hospitality uses and totaling well over 25,000,000 s.f. Prominent local projects include the transit-oriented 2M s.f. Station Square community in Metrotown and 1.7M s.f. SOLO District at the Brentwood Tower Center. We have a significant presence in municipalities throughout the Lower Mainland, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto, and United States, where we have completed numerous successful projects in the cities of Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, and San Diego, CA.

*Job description:*
A *Senior Architect* possesses the capabilities, skill, and the experience necessary to act effectively as a Project Designer / Project Architect / Project Manager on complex projects and the firm. A Senior Architect sets direction for the execution of project goals and objectives with project team and client, defines scope, selects items for investigation, and develops novel concepts and methods. Seeks engagement and collaboration at all levels including the internal and external design team, clients, and contractors, and utilizes significant project experience or expertise to achieve firmwide goals through both project work and firmwide initiatives. Maintains valuable professional relationships with individuals and departments in or outside the firm with responsibility for design and technical matters pertaining to the individual?s expertise. Possesses the ability to oversee a staff of architects and technicians.
*Qualifications*
* Registered with the AIBC with 10 or more years experience;
* Registered with Jurisdiction where work is performed;
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM software
* Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam REVU, Lumion
* Thorough and broad knowledge of design, planning, and technical design skills to develop concepts into design solutions as well as have the graphic and verbal skills to communicate design and planning concepts to clients, colleagues, and consultants;
* Ability to apply sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices in broad array of assignments and related fields;
* Ability to recognize opportunities for innovation within the project context and identify potential applications to meet project goals;
* Sufficient knowledge to lead project teams on all phases of design and document production;
* Extensive technical design skills, including the ability to develop concepts and generate solutions in design development through construction administration of a project;
* Knowledge of design, planning, and technical design skills including the ability to generate building and site concepts; ability to develop concepts into design solutions as well as the graphic and verbal skills to communicate design and planning concepts to clients, colleagues, and consultants;
* Thorough technical knowledge and understanding of architectural and engineering components of buildings and their interrelationships;
* Able to use advanced techniques and modifications or extension of theories and practices in the individual?s area of focus;
* Leadership and organizational skills necessary for direction of a project team in meeting the project goals for quality, schedule, and budget;
* Knowledge of requirements relating to a variety of building types.
