Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Construction trades, general. Carpentry/carpenter. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Outdoors. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Carpenter Trade Certification. Personal protective equipment (PPE) training. Working at heights training. Area of work experience: Framing and shingling. Parts specialization: Carpentry/woodworking machinery. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Physically demanding. Work with minimal supervision. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills.
