Tasks: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques. Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts. Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events . Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs. Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities. Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports. Leading/instructing groups. Leading/instructing individuals. Patrolling/supervising activities. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. Supervision: 5-10 people. 16-20 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Student status: Full time enrollment. Part time enrollment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Reference required. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills.
