Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Installation. Repair. Service/clean. On-site customer service. Tasks: Install interior prefabricated products. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Install, repair and service interior or exterior prefabricated products. Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment. Repair electrical appliances and components. Replace faulty components. Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts. Prepare written estimates of repair costs. Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances. Type of product: Large household appliances. Small appliances.
