Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Experience: Experience an asset. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.). Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) .
