Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Manufacture. Tasks: Inspect operation of instruments and systems. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Repair and adjust system components. Complete test and maintenance reports. Remove and replace defective parts. Calibrate components and instruments. Logical approach for troubleshooting. Determine testing and maintenance procedures. Install new measuring instruments. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility.
