*Position Summary*
The Human Resources Consultant will be responsible for key HR programs and functions.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and execute HR and Safety initiatives
* Provide excellent internal client support
* Drive HR and Safety process improvement
* Maintain accurate HR systems, including employee personnel paper and electronic files
* Responsible for timely and accurate data entry in all HR systems
* Assist in administering all employee benefits and company group registered retirement savings plans
* Develop and deliver effective training programs
* Coordinate and maintain training needs and records
* Coordinate and maintain an effective performance management system including job descriptions and performance evaluations
* Manage employee absenteeism and attendance program
* Manage the full recruitment cycle
* Manage the onboarding of employees
* Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
* Maintain all HR plant-related forms and documents to TS16949/ISO14001 standards
* Collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations to management
* Assist in corrective actions and conduct early-stage interventions, as required
* Administer payroll
* Provide timely advice and support on employee issues to supervisory and management
* Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all time
* Consult with supervisors in maintaining positive employee relations and a safe work environment.
* Uphold all health & safety rules and regulations per JNM/WMT Health & Safety Manual and Ontario?s Occupational Health & Safety Act
* Comply with and enforce all employment standards, company policies and procedures
* Perform any other duties, as required
*Educational and Work Experience Requirements*
* Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources Management
* 4+ years progressive HR experience minimum
* HR experience in manufacturing is preferred
* A high degree of integrity and proven ability to develop positive and supportive relationships of trust at all levels of the organization
* Strong conflict resolution and employee relations skills, coaching and consultation
* Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of employment laws
* Superior interpersonal skills and an adaptive style to fit a variety of personalities and situations
* Strong understanding of Health and Safety as an asset
*Working Conditions*
* Approximately 30 hours per week as required
* Day shift
* Plant and Office Environment
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 25 ? 35 per week
