*Job description*
*Job responsibilities for our Production Assistant include, but are not limited to:*
* Lead bottling line operations including; bottling, labelling, packaging etc.
* Weekly deliveries within the HRM and surrounding areas
* Organization of products, supplies and other warehouse assets
* Keeping an accurate inventory of supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed
* Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, tanks and other production assets
* Occasionally assist with retail operations, events and other customer focused activities
* Ensuring heath and safety compliance
* Assisting in the distilling process including; mashing, fermenting and monitoring
* Filling casks and organize barrel inventory
* Palletize product, prepare large orders for shipments
* Assisting with on/off-site mobile canning
* Heavy lifting
* Pressing fruit
* Assisting in offsite projects (requiring extended periods of time performing repetitive tasks)
* Fulfill incoming orders for local deliveries and licensees
* Maintain professional visibility both inside and outside of the distillery (clearing entrances of any snow or debris, cleaning, etc)
* Occasional outdoor yard work and maintenance
*Applicant qualifications include:*
* \* _Must be 19 years of age or older_\*
* First Aid/CPR, and Serve Right certification are an asset
* Previous beverage / tourism industry experience a huge asset
* Knowledge of spirits, liqueurs and alcohol is an asset
* Required to work weekends. A flexible schedule that may include 6 days a week during peak seasons. Evenings are sometimes required.
* Valid Driver's License with abstract and reliable transportation to/from work
* Be able to carry / lift 50 lbs repetitively
* Standing for long periods of time
* Comfortable using ladders
* Strong inventory management skills
* Bondable
*Attributes of a successful candidate*
* Delivery Driving Experience
* Familiar with downtown HRM and area
* Forklift experience
* Able to complete repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately for extended periods of time
* Willing to expand your scope of work as we continue to grow
* Excellent communication skills
* Reliable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
