Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Professionalism in customer service. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. CPR Certificate. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Driver's License (Class 3 or D). First Aid Certificate. Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Transportation/travel experience: Local. Regional. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
