Job Responsibilities and Duties include: • Work with a Veterinarian Technician to obtain a complete history of the animal's health, examine animals, check their health status, and make suggestions for preventative health care. • Perform diagnostic procedures such as urinalysis, blood smear, etc. to assist in making accurate diagnosis and provide advice for care. • Prescribe appropriate medication with appropriate dosing and maintain security of controlled drugs and ensure logs are completed consistently. • Update patient files and ensure accurate, up to date information has been recorded. • Promote the health of patients by advising clients about sanitation measures, feeding, and general care. • Ensure that clients are well-informed about their pet's health and answer questions related to proper care. •- LocationLondon, ON
