The R&D and Order Fulfillment business units are based in Dallas, Texas.</p><p>Primary Purpose:</p><p>The Project Manager will plan, organize and execute all aspects of the project cycle from post-sale to customer handover. The ideal candidate will have construction experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to senior management, ensuring that our customers needs are being met. The Project Manager will be responsible for completing projects timely, on budget and according to specifications. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, creating project schedules, managing the project teams, providing invoicing and billing details, conducting site training as required.</p><p><span class="long-word">Responsibilities/Job</span> Duties:</p><p>PLANNING</p><p>-Identifies and understands project goals, objectives, and scope to create a project plan.</p><p>-Clearly outline tasks, timelines and resources required.</p><p>-Develop contingency plans for any scheduling uncertainties.</p><p>DOCUMENTATION</p><p>-Create Gantt charts using MS Project.</p><p>-Record meeting minutes and provide weekly project updates.</p><p>-Material tracking reports.</p><p>-Consistent usage of MS Project, Work, Excel Outlook and Visio.</p><p>MANAGEMENT</p><p>-Continuously monitor project dependencies and schedules.</p><p>-Manage issues that may arise, such as missed deadlines, cost overruns and scope creep.</p><p>-Partner with engineers, general contractors, electrical contractors, etc.</p><p>-Regularly attend project site meetings.</p><p>-Oversee change notice processes.</p><p>-Ensure installations maintain a level of high-quality work.</p><p>-Manage progress billing schedules.</p><p>-Continuously create ways to motivate and lead the project teams.</p><p>-Measure customer satisfaction rates at the end of each project, capturing customer feedback in order to gain, maintain and improve long-term customer relationships.</p><p>EVALUATING AND REPORTING</p><p>-Track and report project team hours.</p><p>-Analyze project profitability.</p><p>-Regularly communicate project status to senior management.</p><p>-Project invoicing and budgeting by working with the Accounting team and senior management.</p><p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</p><p>-Experience in a construction environment (5+years).</p><p>-Experience with low voltage systems, install (5+years).</p><p>-Experience working directly with General Contractors, internal and external clients and vendors.</p><p>-PMP Certification strongly preferred.</p><p>-Technical project manager experience, preferred.</p><p>-Skills in business, management, budgeting and analysis.</p><p>-Understanding of invoicing and billing for projects.</p><p>-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing projects.</p><p>-Must be able to travel within the US (up to 50%).</p><p>VALUES AND COMPETENCIES</p><p>-Customer service focused.</p><p>-Must have strong leadership and communication skills.</p><p>-Strong documentation development.</p><p>-Possess a strong sense of integrity and honesty.</p><p>BEHAVIORS</p><p>-Demonstrate strong time management skills.</p><p>-Highly organized, detail and solution oriented.</p><p>-Possess a positive attitude and is polite in nature.</p><p>-Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills.</p><p>-Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to support tea
