Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Commercial. Industrial. Residential. Various locations. Tasks: Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster. Clean and prepare surfaces. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency. Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. Estimate costs and materials. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Flexibility. Judgement.
