We are currently seeking qualified applicants for Non-Certifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Apprentice) with our Maintenance, Structures, and Avionics teams to join our growing crew of dedicated aviation professionals. Our Operations: PAL Airlines Flight Line: Daily line maintenance support for Eastern Canada's largest regional carrier, includes layover checks up to A-checks, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacementsAir Borealis Flight Line: Daily line maintenance support for Labrador and Quebec Lower North Shore, includes layover checks up to A-checks, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacementsPAL Aerospace Flight Line: Serving our special mission aircrafts, our teams assist in the success of our airborne ISR services in Canada and abroad.PAL Aerospace Modifications: Full aircraft design, customization and installation services to missionizing aircraft for search and rescue and surveillance operations, to aircraft conversions. Our Bases are located in the following areas: Flight Line: St John's, NL Halifax, NS Montreal, QC Goose Bay, NL (Air Borealis) Modifications: St. John's, NL Qualifications & Skills: Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICS; Experience in flight line operations would be considered an asset;Experience on the following aircraft is preferred:Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400King Air 200 and/or King Air 300ATR-42 or ATR-72DHC-6 Twin OtterThe ability to work both independently and in a team environment;Troubleshooting skills;Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization and communication skills; andKnowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
